Growth Opportunities through Royal University

We care about our employees and want to invest in their growth. Royal University, our in-house training program, introduces technical and leadership skills. Our curriculum is designed to introduce concepts in the classroom followed by hands-on technical experience and mentorship for two key roles at Royal: Mold Set-up Technician (Utility) and Process Technician (Supervisor).

Mold Set-Up Technician (Utility)

This role, called Utility at Royal, is essential to the success of our daily performance. Our Utility team members can change out anywhere from 2-6 molds per shift.

Successful Utility team members:

  • Thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
  • Are mechanically inclined – if you have repaired your vehicle, motorcycle, refrigerator, tractor, etc., we are talking to you!

    Process Technician (Supervisor)

This role, called Supervisor at Royal, is 100% on the floor and is responsible for both technical and people elements during the shift. Supervisors are able to execute effective mold changes, troubleshoot injection modling processes and equipment and also lead their teams to produce quality product in a safe and efficient environment.

    Successful Supervisor team members:

    • Have a natural curiosity for how things work and have often worked in roles where they see a process from start to finish
    • Are both mechanically and technically inclined; eager to solve, fix, troubleshoot and implement process improvements
    • Have a passion for people and want to lead others with Royal’s core values in mind
