Our Commitment to Sustainability
We are committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship in every aspect of our business. We do this in three main areas: implementation of sustainable resins, process efficiency improvements, and reduction of waste.
We recognize the importance of safeguarding natural resources and minimizing our environmental impacts. We are in constant pursuit of sustainable resins (PCR, PIR, Ocean Bound) in order to reduce both our own carbon footprint and that of our customers. In addition, we relentlessly drive for continuous improvement through process efficiency and the reduction of waste.
We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and in the communities in which we operate through responsible chemical management and resource use.
Customer Carbon Reductions
We can help our customers to reduce carbon emissions for their products by up to 70% by offering post-industrial material alternatives.
10,000 Trees Saved
Over 10,000 trees are preserved each year as a result of our cardboard recycling and reusable packaging.
130M Gallons Saved
Over 130 million gallons of water is preserved each year as a result of our packaging recycling program and the use of post-industrial materials.
500,000+ Gallons of Oil Saved
Over half a million gallons of oil are preserved annually as a result of our recycling program and the use of post-industrial materials.
187M Kwh Saved
Over 187 million Kwh of energy is saved annually as a result of our use of post-industrial materials.
14,000MT Carbon Avoided
We avoid over 14,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually through our recycling program.
130,000MT CO2 Avoided
We avoid over 130,000 MT of CO2 emissions annually by our use of post-industrial materials.

Royal Technologies Recognized as Steelcase 2024 Carbon Reduction Leader
Steelcase, a global design and thought leader in the world of work, has named Royal Technologies a 2024 Carbon Reduction Leader for its commitment to science-based emissions reductions. Royal Technologies has been recognized as a Carbon Reduction Leader for committing to science-based emissions reductions. In response to the increasing urgency…
CO₂ Reduction Initiatives and Metrics
One way we aim to continuously improve is by upholding our commitment to sustainability. We do this by setting and accomplishing goals that help protect the global environment. To that end, we have worked to calculate our organizational carbon footprint according to the standards established by the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. …
Waste Reduction Initiatives and Metrics
Waste reduction is an integral part of our standard operating procedure beginning with injection mold designs for new products. Runner systems are designed to minimize sprue waste; including the use of hot runner systems, when appropriate. Likewise, our Rigorous Mold Tryout (RMT) process ensures that we establish optimum process parameters prior…
Energy Reduction Initiatives and Metrics
We continuously drive for efficiency in our operations because we recognize that it is not only a key aspect of our operating costs – but also impacts our carbon footprint. That is why we have robust systems in place to reduce energy consumption. For example, prior to the start of…
